Fighting spam
By Jordan PetersonSpam — you know it, you hate it. Maybe you’ve even gotten used to it to a certain extent. Chances are you simply delete any e-mails you know are spam, but those seconds here and there are annoying. And you certainly don’t need to waste them during the trading day.
Given that large, publicly traded companies such as Barracuda Networks have multi-billion dollar operations selling spam and virus firewalls to midsized and large businesses, it makes you wonder what you can do to protect yourself.
Here are a few ideas for blocking spam and avoiding e-mail-related viruses and spyware.
