Treasury lowers bond requirements
By Jeff PonczakIn an effort to allow individual investors greater access to the fixed-income market, the U.S. Treasury in March lowered the minimum investment for Treasury bonds. With the price reduction, only $100 is needed to purchase Treasury products, down from $1,000.
