MARKET HISTORY: Labor Day update

When we first measured the S&P 500’s historical performance around Labor Day in 2003, we found the market has tended to slip before and after this holiday over the past 25 years (1978 to 2002). However, this bearish pattern hasn’t continued over the last five years.
