Corn, soybean prices rise with the floodwaters
By Active Trader StaffA torrent of rain flooded the Midwest throughout June, prompting fresh highs in many agricultural commodities. Corn and soybean farmers were hardest hit, as the non-stop rain, which broke levees and flooded towns along the Mississippi river, drenched their fields and ruined most of the crops they had already planted.
